The route starts at the Tourist Information Centre, leading you past the picturesque Pel\u00ed\u0161ek Reservoir and back along a magical path near the Tea Gazebo. It is like standing on top of the world, surrounded by a sea of greenery and sandstone giants.<\/p>\n<p>Walk through the Emperor\u2019s Pass, a narrow gorge where the rock walls almost touch, or discover the mysterious American Cave, which once served as a hideout for locals. And beware \u2013 the ticket is valid <strong>all day<\/strong>, so you can hop between the trails, take a lunch break and then calmly return to the rocks.<\/p>\n<p>For visitors' greater comfort, composting toilets have been added in two locations. The first is 300 meters from the parking lot in Prachov, near Pod Brankou, and the second one is at the popular crossroads U Buku. Thanks to this, you no longer have to worry about longer trips \u2013 rest and comfort are guaranteed.<\/p>\n<p>And good news for <strong>dog owners<\/strong>: your four-legged companions are welcome. It is worth it.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4>Kost Castle<\/h4>\n<p>In the forests of the Bohemian Paradise, atop a massive sandstone promontory, stands one of the best-preserved Gothic castles in Bohemia\u2014the majestic\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.kost-hrad.cz\/en\/hrad-kost-english\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Kost Castle<\/a>. Its silhouette, dominated by the White Tower, will captivate you instantly.<\/p>\n<p>Its origins date back to the 13th century when a sturdy stone tower was built here, strong enough to withstand even the Hussite raids.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Legend<\/strong> has it that the castle got its name from its toughness (\u201ckost\" means \"bone\" in English)\u2014it was said to be so solid that \"not even the tooth of time could chew through it.\" In reality, the name comes from its first documented owner, Bene\u0161 of Costa\u2014meaning \"of the fortress.\"<\/p>\n<p>Over time, the fortress grew into a castle, though it brought <strong>bad luck to its heirs<\/strong> \u2014families came and went, male lines died out and the estate passed from hand to hand. No unnecessary searching\u2014just leave your car a few steps from the monumental castle walls and set off to explore.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4>Trosky Castle<\/h4>\n<p>In the heart of Bohemian Paradise, the mystical <a href=\"https:\/\/hrad-trosky.cz\/en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Trosky Castle<\/a> rises with its two noble towers, <strong>Baba<\/strong> and <strong>Panna<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Beneath the castle\u2019s surface, mysterious tunnels stretch out\u2014reportedly built by its founder, \u010cen\u011bk of Vartenberk, as an escape route during sieges. Just 500 meters from the castle lies the entrance to this underground labyrinth.<\/p>\n<p>Inside, traces of past visitors can still be found, including a \"signature rock\" with carved names. In 1859, four students squeezed through a narrow crevice into a vast cave, where they even discovered a small lake\u2014possibly a water reservoir for the castle.
